In choosing grantmaking programs, MFH is committed to three general principles:

Flexibility:
We recognize the wide scope of health care and welcome ideas on initiatives from others, as well as having the option to identify MFH initiatives internally.

Responsiveness:
MFH's stakeholders include the public in our service region, government leaders, health and social services organizations and consumer groups, as well as others. We actively seek input from the community as we define our programs.

Rigorous Evaluation:
MFH scrutinize's proposals very carefully to determine the most appropriate use of its funds. MFH will also continuously monitor the performance of funded programs. Please refer to the MFH Evaluation page.
