She’s a week and a day old. We found out about WIC and that it would give us milk, food, bread, and extra stuff to help us out. We’ve been using it since she was about five weeks pregnant. The things we get from WIC, we don’t have to use food stamps for. Now, we don’t have to spend too much money on milk for her. Her milk is a lot more expensive than ours.
When Missourians have access to enough nutritious food, they have the fuel they need to grow up strong, attend school prepared to learn, go to their jobs ready to be productive, and maintain their health as they age. When we look out for one another, we all see #TheNetBenefit.
