Talent and Culture Intern

ROLE
The MFH Talent and Culture intern will assist with general departmental work and special human resources projects.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide general assistance with departmental work, including benefits administration, recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, personnel files and general filing, performance reviews, and employee relations
- Assist with special human resources projects as assigned
- Other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM DETAILS
- Open to start dates between now and June/July
- Duration of up to 6 months
- This internship is for 20 hrs per week, onsite work is required
- This is a paid internship at $20/hour
OTHER DUTIES
- Participates in team activities and completes diverse assignments in support of team goals
- Performs general Foundation support activities and carries out special projects as required
- Adheres to the Foundation’s core and staff values
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & REQUIRED SKILLS
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Higher education degree in progress preferred in the areas of organizational psychology, human resources management, business administration, operations, communications
- Demonstrated interest in a career in human resources management
- 1 year of administrative experience required
- Ability to maintain confidence and exercise good judgement
- Strong customer service orientation
- Strong organizational skill and attention to detail
SALARY DESCRIPTION
$20/hour
