Program Assistant

ROLE

The Program Assistant is responsible for providing program and administrative support to assigned areas, including Strategic Communications, Health Policy, Learning and Research, and Strategic Initiatives.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communication and coordination for specific areas or initiatives as assigned such as events, meetings, and calendar updates.
    Administrative activities in the form of support, creation of documents and memos, and working in software to keep information and lists updated and relevant on a consistent basis.
    Standard and special reports, purchase requests, travel, registrations, and reconciliations.

OTHER DUTIES

  • Participates in team activities and completes diverse assignments in support of team goals.
  • Performs general Foundation support activities and carries out special projects as required.
  • Adheres to the Foundation’s core and staff values.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Education: High school graduate or Associate’s Degree
  • Experience: Three to five years of experience with administration; knowledge of social media; copy editing of communications material
