This position is responsible for effectively informing and promoting the Foundation internally, while working with executive leadership to engage and educate audiences externally. The position implements internal communication strategies that translate externally when appropriate and align with the mission, values, and vision of the Foundation to further its goals.
Effectively collaborate with colleagues from all functions and at all levels of the Foundation to coordinate internal communications and ensure consistency of voice and message
Working with executive leadership, create content for various external/internal-facing speaking, media, social media, and presentation opportunities
Develop and implement internal strategic communications plans and activities geared toward reaching various target audiences
Perform other related duties to support Foundation-wide communications objectives, as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications required
Experience: Five or more years of work experience that demonstrates ability to achieve essential outcomes of position required. Experience in health communications or social justice in an environment that prioritized equity preferred.
Knowledge of Associated Press style and guidelines preferred
Prior experience amplifying and refining leadership messages
