Fundraiser Support Program
Supporting local organizations working to achieve health equity across the state by contributing to their fundraising events. We recognize the diverse efforts that combine to promote healthier lives for Missourians.
The Fundraiser Support Program is designed to assist organizations across Missouri with their fundraising events by providing financial assistance through table purchases, ticket contributions, and direct cash donations to support their efforts.
Through the Fundraiser Support Program, we:
- Target support to small nonprofits throughout the state
- Promote health equity across the state
- Initiate new relationships with organizations across our service area
- Strengthen the broader network of nonprofits working to achieve health equity
Our Service Areas
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission aligns with our core values
- Provide a Form W-9 and flyer or screenshot of the event information when applying
- Applicants must be located within and/or primarily serving our service area
- Requests must be submitted through the online application form found on our website Submissions via phone, email, or direct mail sponsorship packages will not be considered
- Applications must be received a minimum of four weeks in advance of the date of the event, and no earlier than 120 days before the event date
- The event must be a fundraiser that will generate proceeds to benefit the organization
Examples of event types that will be considered for funding include:
- Annual dinners and galas
- Golf tournaments
- Trivia nights
- Fun runs
- Luncheons
- Other fundraising events to support the mission of the organization
Examples of events / requests that will not be considered for funding include:
- Music festivals/concert series
- Trainings for staff
- Conference attendance and speakers
- Hospitals and hospital foundations
- Requests from city, state, or local governments and governmental entities
- Requests to support political groups and/or organizations (e.g., individuals running for office, political parties)
- Requests from elementary, middle school, or high school events
- Capital campaigns
- Requests to underwrite specific event expenses or budget line items
The review process for applications takes about four weeks on average. After this period, we will inform you of our decision via email.
By participating in these fundraising events, we aim to amplify the efforts of these organizations and help them achieve their goals, ultimately strengthening the fabric of our state-wide health equity work.
