The United States Department of Health and Human Services has identified reducing the national rate of unintended pregnancy as a critical step to improving health. Missouri Family Health Council, Inc. announces the availability of funding for The Right Time. This Request for Applications is to solicit applications from organizations interested in delivering services through this initiative.

Bootheel Babies & Families - Hub Partners - New Madrid and Scott Counties (Request for Applications)

This Request for Applications invites organizations in the MFH region serving New Madrid and Scott counties to apply for funds to operate as Hub Partners with Bootheel Babies and Families (BBF). Funding is available for organizations to provide administrative and convening support to service providers, grassroots organizations, and cross-sector partnerships that are delivering the desired outcomes of the IMRI initiative in their county.

Opportunity Fund

We believe that the best strategies to address community health issues often come directly from our communities. Through our Opportunity Fund we’re offering the chance for visionary thinkers to tell us their best ideas with the hope of making them a reality. We aim to foster generative conversations — encouraging community members to share their hopes for a healthier region, while providing guidance and making connections that can help bring their ideas to life.

The Opportunity Fund has a rolling deadline, with applications read as they are received.

Important Note on General Support for Advocacy (GSA) Grants in 2017-2018

Started in 2004, the GSA program has provided flexible funding to strengthen health advocacy organizations and ensure grantees are able to respond to health policy issues in a timely and systemic way. Currently, the MFH Board of Directors, Community Advisory Council, and staff are reviewing the Foundation’s approach and strategies to support health advocacy and policy in Missouri.

MoCAP is a program to help Missouri-based nonprofits and governmental health organizations submit stronger applications for federal and national funding opportunities.

Event Sponsorship

Knowing how important community fundraising can be for nonprofits, we offer event sponsorship to select organizations in our region. Support is limited to one event per-organization per-year, and events must fit within our mission. For more information and to begin the application process, please follow the link below to submit your sponsorship application.
