We're on the lookout for new ideas and innovative thinking. We want to partner with organizations that approach health issues from a new perspective, but always keep the well-being of Missourians at the heart of their work. Join us in our cause!
Infant Mortality Reduction Initiative (Request for Contracted Service Proposals)
Missouri Foundation for Health is requesting proposals from organizations seeking to partner in learning and evaluation of the Foundation’s Infant Mortality Reduction Initiative (IMRI). The intended scope of work includes providing thought partnership to various initiative partners and foundation staff, as well as evaluating the IMRI’s contributions toward (1) system-level changes in maternal and infant health promotion, and (2) improving the experiences and health outcomes of women and their infants.
Gun Suicide Prevention Initiative – Planning Grants (Request for Applications)
This request for applications (RFA) invites organizations in the Missouri Foundation for Health (MFH) service region to apply for funds to plan the development of a community-based, multi-sector, collaborative program that aims to reduce gun suicides in a population of interest.
Please Note: This program is on hiatus due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. Please sign up for our mailing list to keep up to date on the latest news.
We believe that the best strategies to address community health issues often come directly from our communities. Through our Opportunity Fund we’re offering the chance for visionary thinkers to tell us their best ideas with the hope of making them a reality. We aim to foster generative conversations — encouraging community members to share their hopes for a healthier region, while providing guidance and making connections that can help bring their ideas to life.
This fund is closed until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are promoting the practice of physical distancing, and encourage our grantees and partners to do the same. At the moment we are unable to support any events that would invite a group of people to congregate.
Knowing how important community fundraising can be for nonprofits, we offer event sponsorship to select organizations in our region. Support is limited to one event per-organization per-year, and events must fit within our mission.
Applicants are welcome to apply for multiple funding opportunities at any given time.
