We're on the lookout for new ideas and innovative thinking. We want to partner with organizations that approach health issues from a new perspective, but always keep the well-being of Missourians at the heart of their work. Join us in our cause!
Open Funding Opportunities
The National Collaborative on Gun Violence Research - Missouri Research (Request for Proposals)
MFH is partnering with the National Collaborative on Gun Violence Research to commission work specific to Missouri. This opportunity, which is open to researchers of different disciplines, as well as doctoral students working on their dissertations, will address gaps in what we know about gun violence and generate evidence to address the issue more effectively.
Please Note: This program is under review, and we are not currently accepting proposals. We aim to reopen the fund in early 2020. We apologize for the inconvenience.
We believe that the best strategies to address community health issues often come directly from our communities. Through our Opportunity Fund we’re offering the chance for visionary thinkers to tell us their best ideas with the hope of making them a reality. We aim to foster generative conversations — encouraging community members to share their hopes for a healthier region, while providing guidance and making connections that can help bring their ideas to life. The Opportunity Fund has a rolling deadline, with applications read as they are received.
Knowing how important community fundraising can be for nonprofits, we offer event sponsorship to select organizations in our region. Support is limited to one event per-organization per-year, and events must fit within our mission. For more information and to begin the application process, please follow the link below to submit your sponsorship application. For questions regarding event sponsorship, please contact Sue Schmitz. Submission of a request does not guarantee funding.
Applicants are welcome to apply for multiple funding opportunities at any given time.
