Home Sweet Home

In January of 2019, our staff officially moved into the vibrant Forest Park Southeast neighborhood in St. Louis City. We are thrilled to share that our project and its many finishing touches are now finally complete, and our campus is a permanent fixture in the neighborhood. The move into our new headquarters was a strategic one, positioning us to be better at working with and engaging communities.

Though it hardly seemed possible when first scoping out its dirt floors and barren interior, we recognized huge potential in the abandoned Columbia Iron Works building. It was a blank canvas, so we set out to create a space that epitomizes our identity and core values and would be warm and inviting to the organizations using it to advance their missions.

Our building serves many purposes, and in-person convenings are something we’re excited to offer to more Missouri organizations. With the ability to comfortably accommodate 100-200 people in our biggest conference room, we are looking forward to bringing together more people and groups as we forge new partnerships and collaborations for the well-being of our region.

For the MFH team, the finished campus is a different world. Where we previously were restricted and segmented onto multiple floors, we are now able to stretch our legs and interact in new ways. Our open office configurations encourage quick informal meetings and make working together second nature.

Get a closer look at our campus’ transformation from ruined to revitalized in the in the video below.
