Partnership Spotlight: Uplifting the Heart of Our Work

When you reach a milestone, it’s natural to reflect on the journey.

For us, the story of the last quarter-century isn’t about the Foundation alone – it’s about neighbors, leaders, and organizations across Missouri who have carried this work forward. That’s why we created an online spotlight series to highlight their stories and recognize their impact. We want to celebrate the people who make lasting change possible.

Our partners have always been at the heart of our work. They’re creating the conditions for a healthier region: feeding families, supporting neighbors in crisis, organizing for safer communities, and pushing for policies that open doors of opportunity. They know their communities because they are their communities.

From the Bootheel to the river towns of northeast Missouri, from the hills of the Ozarks to the Gateway Arch, our partners have shaped this work in every corner of the state. They are the story of where we’ve been and the compass for where we’re going.

The Foundation’s role has never been to lead from the front, but to stand alongside. We provide resources, but it’s our partners who turn those resources into movements, networks, and coalitions that advance health equity. Their perseverance gives us hope for the future.

The organizations that we spotlight reflect a wide range of geography, projects, and timeframes. What they share is an unwavering commitment to improving the lives of real people.
