About Speak Up MO: The Missouri Foundation for Health Poll
Missouri Foundation for Health has launched the second annual Speak Up MO poll to get a better understanding of how Missourians feel about a range of important health issues. This nonpartisan effort is just one of the ways we're listening to and learning from communities across the state.
Research process
Working with a nonpartisan polling firm, Missouri Foundation for Health administered the 2025 Speak Up MO poll from June 16-July 1, 2025. The type of survey administered was a dual-mode resident survey, targeting adult residents of Missouri. Nearly 2,000 Missourians, including 1,670 in the Missouri Foundation for Health service area, were asked a series of questions to help us determine their experiences with a number of public-health related issues.
Feedback was also gathered from Missourians through pre-poll focus groups and via QualBoard, an online software platform designed to help conduct research to understand people’s opinions, experiences, and motivations.
Through our polling firm, we contacted Missourians through telephone calls, email invitations, and text invitations. Survey responses were collected via telephone interviews and online interviews, in both English and Spanish. The margin of error for the full sample of the survey was ±2.3% at the 95% confidence level.
