Missouri Foundation for Health Announces New Executive Team
The Foundation’s new leadership structure now reflects the strategic transformation the organization has undergone in recent years
ST. LOUIS, MO (November 18, 2019) – Missouri Foundation for Health is announcing the restructuring of its Executive Team, aligning leadership roles and responsibilities with areas of focus that complement the Foundation’s strategy and new direction. Most recently, MFH has transitioned from being known as simply a grantmaker and acquired more areas of expertise to strengthen its efforts of driving systems-level change on the issues being addressed.
The Executive Team will be responsible for the planning and organizing of work that spans the entire Foundation, in addition to team members managing their own areas. The strengthening of MFH staff leadership will enhance efficiency and assist in achieving Foundation goals. The MFH Executive Team will now be comprised of the following individuals:
- Bob Hughes, President & CEO
- Jill Nowak, Chief Financial & Administrative Officer
- Kristy Klein Davis, Chief Strategy Officer
- Ryan Barker, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives
- Kathleen Holmes, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives
- Courtney Stewart, Vice President of Strategic Communications
- Deena Lauver Scotti, Vice President of Program Administration
- Vice President of Health Policy – vacant
- Vice President of Learning & Research – vacant
“What we do as an organization is extremely complex and requires excellent team work,” said Hughes. “The success of those efforts depends on us having the right mix of people with the appropriate skills and expertise to move it forward,” said Hughes. “These individuals motivate others to work collaboratively, understand strategic development and oversight, and are champions of our work and our brand – resulting in us collectively accomplishing great things. This is an exciting step forward, and I’m proud to work with them all.”
A search to fill the two vacant vice president positions will be launched by the Foundation soon. All Executive Team changes will go into effect December 1, 2019.
