Every day, people across the country are forced to choose between their health and their paycheck, though the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA), a temporary federal mandate for paid leave, attempts to fix that. The FFCRA policies are necessary but insufficient at protecting the entire nation’s workforce.
